Apple has officially launched its latest flagship smartphones, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, at the much-awaited “Awe Dropping” event. Both models run on iOS 26 and are powered by the all-new A19 Pro chip, delivering Apple’s most advanced performance to date. This year, Apple has also introduced a major design shift with a unibody aluminum build and a vapor chamber cooling system, making these models the first iPhones with advanced thermal performance.
As successors to the iPhone 16 Pro models, these new devices come with many new features and upgrades. Both devices will support all artificial intelligence (AI) features of the Apple Intelligence suite.
iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max Price and Availability
The price of the iPhone 17 Pro in the US starts at $1,099 (256GB variant), while the iPhone 17 Pro Max will be available from $1,199 (256GB variant). In India, the starting price of the iPhone 17 Pro has been kept at ₹1,34,900, and the price of the 17 Pro Max has been kept at ₹1,49,900. These will be available in Cosmic Orange, Deep Blue, and Silver color options. The iPhone 17 Pro models will be available for pre-order from 12 September, and smartphones will go on global sale from 19 September.
